Why do I love eating a Raw Foods Diet?

Eating a raw food diet helped me have effortless and rapid weight loss. This was my favorite result because at the time I began eating a raw food diet I was over 30 pounds overweight and I wanted that weight gone!

Another thing I love about eating a raw food diet is that I do not have to count calories or fat grams. I eat lots of delicious satisfying food in hearty unmeasured quantities. I never starve or feel deprived. The more I studied the raw food diet and experienced it for myself, the more I realized that I could easily eat this way my entire life and enjoy it.

The raw food diet gave me a huge amount of increased energy. Before when I was eating the more traditional American diet of processed foods and some junk foods, I felt lethargic and tired. The way I eat now fuels my body and powers me through my day and I feel great!

I sleep better now. My sleep is deep and restful and I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on each new day.

I rarely get sick with colds or flu. When others around me are suffering from seasonal maladies I am doing just fine.

I don't have phlegm or nasal congestion any more. I noticed that these yucky symptoms went away when I quit eating or drinking dairy products.

My attitude and overall outlook on life has improved to be more positive and joyful. I also feel calmer. I am certain that removing processed foods and the accompanying chemical additives and stimulants from my diet has done wonders for my body. You never realize how over-stimulated your body can become from processed foods and drinks until you stop eating them. I feel so much better now.

So those are my 7 favorite reasons I love eating a high percentage raw foods diet packed with fruits and vegetables and other delights. Of course, my favorite reason was the speedy weight loss. But I sure enjoy the other benefits too!
