Fruit and Vegetable Diet Cleanse | 4 Secrets to Losing Weight Fast and Easy

If you are like most people you want to lose weight fast. You may be fed up with being fat and you are ready to dive headlong into a weight loss program. After a few days and for some of you, after only a few hours, you give up on the diet and go right back to eating the junk that made them fat in the first place.

My favorite way to help people get started in winning the battle of the bulge is to have them to a fruit and vegetable diet cleanse for 14 days.
Most of my clients lose quite a bit of weight during this all natural cleanse and this motivates them to continue on with their weight loss and rid themselves of all the excess weight that is weighing down their bodies and souls.
Preparation is key when getting ready to do a 14 day cleanse or any diet for that matter.
Here are 4 tips that have helped my clients stay committed to the plan and they will help you too - IF you choose to follow them.
1-Get a partner and do the cleanse with them. Having an accountability friend or coach that is doing the same plan you are doing can be very motivating and keep you on track. It can be fun too!
2-Read lots of positive articles or books about people that done the type of cleanse or diet you are doing. Fill your mind with stories of people that have successfully lost weight and improved their health. See yourself doing the same thing - following your plan and winning the struggle with weight.
3-Get the foods you need for your cleanse or diet before it begins. You do not want to be caught in the middle of a busy week without the food you need to complete your healthy cleansing regimen. If you do, you will be more tempted to ditch your new eating plan and eat your roommate's high calorie foods.
4-Plan some fun non-food related activities during your diet cleanse. This will give you some alternatives to keep you distracted so that you will not fall back into a habit of sitting in front of the TV at night and eating. I keep a list handy of things I like to do when I am feeling tempted to eat. A few of my favorites are: go for a nice relaxing walk after dinner, work on a project around the house, take a class, or call a friend. If I am still feeling tempted to munch out at night and I really want to watch a show on TV one thing that helps me not eat while watching TV is to walk on my treadmill while I watch the show, or jump on my rebounder or do calisthenics or lift free weights while the show is on. I not only get to enjoy watching something fun I also feel great about myself because I am being disciplined and burning a few calories at the same time!
