Raw Food Diet Weight Loss - It works!! and you lose weight FAST!

Reader Question | Will I Have Enough Energy to Workout on a Raw Food Diet? Can a Busy Person Do a Raw Food Diet Cleanse?

Will I have enough energy,

can I still do workouts,

is this plan easy to do for a busy person?

Great questions! Thanks, Shannon, for sending it in!

This is what I experience each day when I eat a high percentage of raw fruits and vegetables in my daily diet.

Energy?

I have tons of it!

The majority of my diet is fruits, vegetables with lots of fresh greens (kale, spinach, romaine, and more).

I drink a lot of green smothies (fruit, veggies and greens) that fuel me.

I get a lot of protein from my greens and fruits - you would be surprised just how much protein is in natural food. Remember…elephants are vegetarians and they have tons of muscle! They also live very long lives too!

Workouts?

I workout at least 6 days a week.

I usually run 2-4 miles each day.

I lift weights 3 times a week.

I do yoga 2-3 times a week.

And I fit in an abdominal workout at least 5 days a week for 6-10 minutes.

Busy?

I am a super busy lady! As most of us are!

This way of eating and way of living is totally do-able for a busy person.

You just have to plan ahead. But that is true with anything you choose to be disciplined about, right?

It actually takes me less time to prepare my meals than when I formerly prepared cooked foods.

My meals are ready in a flash! And they taste unbelievable good.

I never feel like I am missing out by not eating cooked food - there are just so many great tasting recipes that I make and my body feels so energized after I eat them!

If I have to be away from home, I just prepare food and take it with me.

I always take extra care to be prepared so I won’t be tempted by foods that are not on the plan.

As long as I do not allow myself to get too hungry (not smart for ANY body) and as long as I have some great tasting food to eat when I do get hungry…I have no trouble eating in this healthy way.

I found that putting my health first helps me have more energy and clear thinking that helps me accomplish more each day.

When I ate an unhealthy diet….

I did not feel so good, was more lethargic and was less effective each day.

Now…I have way more energy, a slim physique, and a healthier body that gets me where I need to go each day with joy!
