Fruit and Vegetable Diet - Raw Food Cleanse and Lose Weight Fast - Update 12

Hey everyone!

Just checking in and letting you all know I am still doing this raw fruit and vegetable cleanse before Christmas!

The longer I do it the better I feel.

This is my 6th day of totally raw food - just fruits and veggies.

My clothes are definitely looser.

I am sleeping more soundly.

I wake up with more energy.

I have a much brighter outlook on life - even though we are experiencing dark foggy winter days and cold temperatures.

My workouts have been awesome - sweaty and challenging - and I have tons of energy to complete them.

I have found some wonderful fruits and vegetables that keep me on track.

Currently my favorite fruit is…….pomegranates!

The pomegranate fruit has a citrus flavor and is very juicy and tangy.

My mouth waters just thinking about getting to eat this for lunch in an hour.

If you have never tried a pomegranate - do yourself a favor and try one.

I am so glad I did. :)

Well, folks, if you are doing a cleanse — keep at it — your body and mind are grateful.

I am continuing on and feeling great.

New Year - hear I come - ready or not!

Hey Jana,

Good job on the cleanse so far. I am joining you starting tomorrow. I have been cleansing off and on for 6 weeks now and have lost a considerable amount of weight. I would like to get rid of 10-15 more pounds before Christmas as that will put me at my goal weight and I am leaving on a cruise for winter vacation! I love the clean feeling that eating raw fruits and veggies gives me. I already eat about 60-90% raw depending on the day as I am a vegan but there is nothing like a 100% raw cleanse. So keep up the good work and know that I am with you on this until Christmas!

Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hello.

I, too, am mostly raw all the time….however I had a bit of a cooked food period around Thanksgiving that added some weight and made me feel not quite so good.

Congratulations on the weight you have lost and on your commitment to your health during the holidays.

You are going to go into your vacation feeling SO AWESOME! Your cruise will rock and you will enjoy it even more due to your preparation now. Way to go!
