Fruit and Vegetable Diet - Raw Food Cleanse and Lose Weight Fast - Update 9

This is my toughest cleanse yet with all the darn holiday feasts going on around me…

plus my Dad keeps wanting to go out to restaurants….and I just don't want the temptation…not right now….

I so want to complete this cleanse and feel good….I have jumped off the wagon too many times in the last month due to some incredibly stressful things going on around me….it seems when I feel powerless in certain areas of my life I prefer to numb out and not feel those yucky feelings…of course it does not help as after eating unhealthy food I just feel worse (foggy, lethargic, shamed) and I still have the darn powerless garbage to work through.

So with this monomeal and raw fruit & vegetable cleanse…I get to simplify food in my life so I can be awake and aware and healthy enough to deal maturely and wisely with every other thing going on.

If you are doing a cleanse right now….do not give up….it is so worth it to feel good, lose weight and improve your health.

Hey Jana,

I'm still doing this cleanse with you! It really is a tough one… Yesterday was my hardest day so far. I know exactly what you mean. It is so much easier to just numb your emotions with food. I had a terrible fight with my Mom last night, and boy was I tempted to stuff what I was feeling. But then I figured my cells deserved better….and I had some mango instead of junk.

I still don't understand why when you're sad you're always more tempted to have crappy food instead of something that will actually nurture your body and eventually make you feel better naturally. I know we've all made that mistake, but it's kinda sad.

Anyway, I had a good day of cleansing today,too. I worked off that anger from last night with some pilates and cardio, and really broke a sweat, so I feel great right now. :D

I think we're both doing great here, and things will get better next year.

Here's a hug, from me to you, to make you glad when you feel blue; to make you happy when you're sad, to let you know life ain't so bad!

Way to go Malvina — eating mango instead of eating junk. Especially when your emotions were really high - I am so proud of you.

Someone once told me that if you are doing a cleanse and you are feeling tempted by other things….you may be hungry or you may be frustrated…either way - just eat some raw fruit….at least if you are eating raw fruit you are eating something nourishing that won't hurt your body and mind later.

I have to tell you that I rarely BINGE on fruit….I usually eat "enough" and I stop….raw fruit really satisfies my body and soul. It also fills my "sweet tooth" need. :) And fruit can really fill you up - eat 2 or 3 apples and see if you don't feel full :)

The foods I used to binge on like chips, ice cream, pizza, candy, chocolates - those foods never satisfied me and so I kept eating and eating and eating…. with raw fruits and vegetables I get satisfied, I feel great, the weight melts off and life is good!

I just got done jogging 2 1/2 miles and I am sweaty….doesn't a good work out do wonders? Glad to hear you are working out too!

Malvina, we are both right on track with this cleanse - even though we are miles apart…with you in Germany and me in California.
