Raw Foods Cleanse for Weight Loss - Day 4
Okay….Day 4….
Weight loss so far: when I weighed this morning I had lost over 5 pounds in 3 days!
For breakfast I drank fresh juice made of beets, beet greens, romaine, spinach, lemons, apples and ginger root - so delicious.
For lunch I ate a big bowl of succulent juicy green grapes.
For dinner I made raw spaghetti and fresh marinara sauce with tomatoes, basil, oregano, red peppers and cayenne.
This is what I use to make raw spaghetti with zuchinni
It is so cool! You can spiralize any firm vegetable or fruit - it rocks for making delicious raw dishes!
I did have one little splurge I had a topping of 1/2 of an avocado on my raw spaghetti (my dinner - raw spaghetti and marinara with avocado - is one of my favorite raw meals that I eat often).
If you have followed my raw cleanses before you will know that my intention is to always keep my cleanses totally raw and fat free….but sometimes an avocado slips in the menu.
Last time I did this cleanse I still lost 13 pounds in 14 days and I had several avocados during that 14 day period.
So I know that for me as long as I am watchful with the fats I can have a little and still lose weight and cleanse.
